Personal Brand and Professional Image is important to every person in every workplace. However, when your job is to offer 5 star service, the stakes are higher. I presented to the Castlemartyr staff last week, who were a pleasure to work, stay and speak with. Thank you for having me, it was far from a typical day in the office! The mix of on-trend dresses with heirloom jewellery was a great reason to celebrate at Powerscourt Townhouse this week. The RIXO bridal collection is available to browse and buy at the Chupi store for this week and thereafter online. Ideal for bridal gowns, day 2 outfits, or unique hen party dresses.

Creative days spent with a team are always highlights in a month. This month featured a campaign for Irish jewellery brand Betty + Biddy. This is my favourite image from the shoot. We are delighted to welcome Sarah Tansey to StyleSavvy, as Finance and Operations Manager. Sarah joins us from a role in retail management. With a background in pharmacy and a qualification in accounting, while still working on campaign shoots as a model, it is fair to say that we are very lucky to have Sarah as part of our growing team.

To our lovely StyleSavvy Edit subscribers, as promised in our first mailing…here is the How To Wear for our Top Picks!
It’s a treat to see pops of colour in the shops and we are all set to show you how to work them…
First up is this jewel toned textured blazer from Zara. There are two options for this. Either wear with a white or navy t shirt, go for a smart workwear angle with cream or white blouses, or add a colour pop of pink, sapphire blue or violet, if you want to pack a punch.
Pair with tailored trousers, slim jeans (below) or Spanx leathers with a long v neck t shirt under.
This boxy shape casual jacket is ideal for a more petite frame with a smaller bust. Go for a basic in white, or aim for colour in pastels or brights like emerald green or pink…
Voila! This jumper goes with the above two blazers and the bright vibrant colour works well with most skin tones (jewel tones are the most versatile). Size up as these are neat.
These are my jeans pick of the month. Tuck the pink jumper in (French tuck…my StyleSchool students know what I mean!) and see how smart a simple white t-shirt can be with a sharp cut like these. (af).
I’ve added this striped top for any non-colour pop fans, many prefer neutrals and this long sleeve works great under a leather jacket, cream cardigan or black wool coat. Pair with high or mid waist jean, leather trousers, I could go on!
Avoiding stripes is a myth when the fabric is heavy and doesn’t cling….and when the stripes are solid blocks, not thin lines in thin fabric that hug lumps and bumps. Roll the sleeves to create a 3/4 length finish.
Happy Shopping!
Laura

We are really excited to start 2022 with the launch of StyleSchool, our Online Event Hub.
We are kicking off with StyleSchool January next Wednesday, followed by the one-off Wardrobe Edit on Thursday 13th.
These are my favourite classes to teach and I love helping all our members look good and feel good, now and always.
One of my top tips which we discuss is Cost per Wear…aka spending your money where you spend your time.
I’ve linked more info here, if anyone has a question, feel free to get in touch via our contact page.
Kindest,
Laura
