Red

The breakout colour of this season, red has been a favoured choice by designers at Paris Fashion Week. From tomato red to wine, different hues have flooded the Parisian runway this season. Dior, Givenchy and Facetasm showcased head to toe red, whereas Balmain and Wooyoungmi went for more subtle looks adding the colour in through statement jackets paired with understated outfits.

Slogans/Logos

Slogans and logos graced the runway this season with designers choosing bold print on their designs. This is the opposite of what we have seen in past season where designers preferred a minimal approach to the use of logos and slogans, instead opting for print or embellishment for design.

Pinstripe

The pin stripe was once something to steer clear of, however, this season it is back with a bang featuring in the collections of France’stop fashion houses. Dior and Cerruti showcased classic pinstripe styles through their formal wear, while Balenciaga updated the pin stripe using different colours on shapes taking it out of the formalwear realm.
