New Look shared their Spring Summer 2017 collections to stylists and bloggers alike at the Cliff Townhouse on Wednesday.
The collection offered strong independent themes, which had a thread of similarity from one range to another, allowing the loyal New Look shopper to tap in and out of different styles without leaving the brand.
Delicate pastels and florals were seen through the rails, with light fabrics and romantic styles offering a touch of softness that we associate with the summer months.
My personal favourite, the patriot blue, with hints of red and a fresh mix of gingham and embroidery, really stands out as a top seller capsule for the brand.
Neon brights were featured in a norm-core style; cotton and lycra in swimsuits and tops with some super cool rainwear allowing practicality to meet a colour punch head on.
Accessories, as always, a seriously strong point for the brand, with this accessory wall giving us serious display envy, not to mention the hairband selection that would be Blair Waldorf envious. Shoes are funky and fresh, mixing colour, stitching and print with up-to-the-minute styles and shapes.
The food deserves a mention, for the sheer selection of treats, which I worked damn hard to resist. Thanks to the Cliff Townhouse and most importantly to the New Look PR team for curating such a beautiful event.
