No Summer calendar is complete without a trip to the polo, and this year, StyleSavvy® is excited to be working with this Summer’s most exciting event, The June Party in the Park, in aid of IMNDA. The IMNDA is the primary support organisation for individuals and families coping with the effects of MND in Ireland. Key services include home visiting by an MND dedicated nurse, financial assistance towards home care and the provision of specialist medical equipment on loan to clients. The June Party in the Park raises much-needed funds to support the organisation, and in the past three years have raised €200,000.

The first of its kind to hit Dublin, we are looking to our counterparts in the UK, for essential styling tips for the day. Similar to horse-racing days, polo events have become synonymous with high fashion and creative styling, drawing in the likes of the Royal family and celebrities alike. So check out our guide to polo dressing.

Lovely in Lace

the ultimate day to night fabric and the traditional fabric of polo, lace is flattering and stylish, with swatches of this intricate fabric to be found all over the high street this season.

Separates

Don’t fear a skirt and top combo, or a super slick tailored trouser in a funky print – we’re all about cost-per-wear here at StyleSavvy® HQ, so an option to re-wear during the summer months is key.

Factor in a Cover Up

Temperatures drop as the party moves from day to night, whether it be a chic blazer, leather jacket or tailored tweed piece, layering is your friend at an outdoor event.

Footwear

we will have a marquee and flooring so the ‘heels sinking into grass’ issue is possible, but not inevitable. No harm to rock a wedge or block heel to be on the safe side though, see our top picks here

Accessories

Statement sunglasses, clutch bags in lighter fabrics and colours (straw, etc) and statement earrings to pack a punch.
