BoohooMan has launched their Autumn Winter 2017 range in the form of five key trends, combining urban hip-hop with vibrant colouring. The high-trend retailer is offering unique pieces in their streetwear aesthetic. Fusing together key trends of the season, the brand has created a functional, yet stylish collection. As usual, streetwear heavily influences the collection’s look, giving the collection an overall youthful, carefree feel.
The foundation of BoohooMan’s AW17 collection. With pvc outerwear, oversized silhouettes and innovative prints, Vigilante Grunge gives way to the modern era of grunge, merging a care-free, rebellious attitude with an urban aesthetic.
Athleisure takes centre stage in a minimalist grey palette with pops of colour to contrast with the darker tones of the collection. Consisting of knee length coats, textured knits and the winter essential; turtle necks, Lounge Luxe provides comfort and style, fused into the must-have winter capsule.
The tailoring component of the collection, After Party offers winter tailoring in modern cuts and updated tones, in addition to hoodies and sweaters to keep in line with the brand’s streetwear aesthetic.
Influenced by a military look, Street Soviet is reminiscent of our idea of German and Russian gangs, combining the streetwear aesthetic with a hardened, structured cut to create militaresque, roughened style. Key pieces of the collection include structured bombers and panelled sweaters.
The country aspect of the collection takes form in check prints and blanket tones. Inspired by folk culture, BoohooMan pairs established country style pieces with modern, streetwear pieces for an updated, edgier look.
